Don’t smirk, it’s true…I started a Booktube channel, partly in addition to my Book Blog Peter Likes Books. I’ve already uploaded several videos including My Favorite LGBT Books, reviews of Go Set a Watchman and Dumplin and several other fun book tag videos and a book haul. Please go check it out and subscribe to my channel Peter Likes Books HERE!
Hey guys! It’s been awhile, but I’ve been diligently working on my next novel. I took the day off today and have been lazing around the house, catching up on TV(I’m watching the season premier of Monica the Medium right now!), and trying to figure out how to return my new Converse low tops for a different size. While I’ve been watching TV I’ve been roaming through some of my favorite book blogs and YouTube book bloggers. I started thinking to myself, “You love books. You write books. You are constantly reading books and listening to books and reading book blogs and YouTube videos about books, so why don’t YOU start a book blog?” I’ve always believed that there are writers and there are book bloggers, but why not someone who does both? The decision has been made. Starting July 1st, once I’ve finished the final pieces of my next novel, I will have a book blog as an extension of this site. I will also be doing videos of book hauls, book reviews, favorite books of the month, etc. Make sure you check back and if you have any books for review, check out my contact section!
In the meantime, I’ve decided to complete this really fun Book Blogger Test I found on two of my favorite book blogs, CELINEREADS and MyriadInklings! (If you don’t know of these blogs please go check them out!) Check out the Book Blogger Test Below!

Danny Goldstein has always lived in the shadow of his identical, twin brother Sam. But when a hurricane of events forces him into the spotlight, he starts to realize that the only thing he’s truly afraid of is himself. With the help of his costume changing friend Cher, a famous gay uncle with a mysterious past of his own, two aging punk rocker parents and Rusty, the boy who will become his something to live for, Danny begins to realize that the music of the heart is truly the soundtrack for living.
All you have to do is email me at email@example.com and tell me you’re interested and that you’re willing to rate it and give a review on Audible! I’ll forward you the code and bingo…it’s all yours! You don’t even have to like it(although I hope you do!!!)
Recently, I’ve found myself trying to decide what book I’m going to read next based on reviews I read either on Goodreads or on reviews made by book bloggers. I had always said that as an author I would never post book reviews, feeling that my writing was best served on the other side, but I think that it’s time that I put my two cents into the equation, especially as an author.
